SAPANA JADOUN
INVESTIGADOR POSTDOCTORAL
Dr. Sapana Jadoun did her masters in Organic Chemistry from the University of Rajasthan in 2011. She has completed her Ph.D. on topic “Synthesis, Characterization and Fluorescence Studies of Amine-Based Conducting Polymers and Copolymers” in Materials Chemistry from the Department of Chemistry, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, India under the supervision of Dr. Ufana Riaz.
She has also worked as Junior Research Fellow from Dec 2014 to Nov 2016 and Senior Research Fellow from Dec 2016 to July 2018 in DST-SERB sponsored project entitled “Enhancement of Fluorescent Properties of Conjugated Polymers using Luminol and its Derivatives for their Application in Near-Infrared Region”
She has qualified CSIR (Council for Scientific & Industrial Research) NET (National Eligibility Test) in Chemical Sciences with All India Rank 19th (Dec 2011) and All India Rank 36th (June 2011). She was associated with Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth, Faridabad, India as an Assistant Professor at the School of Basic & Applied Sciences as well as she was holding a position of “Coordinator-Research & Publications” there after her thesis submission. Before her Ph.D., She was associated with Jaipur National University, Rajasthan, India as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Environment Engineering. She has a total of 24 publications in the peer-reviewed scientific journal including 15 publications and 9 book chapters with 108 citation and H-index of 7 (google scholar). Her area of expertise includes functionalized conducting polymers, their copolymers, nanocomposites and their application in organic electronics, photocatalysis and bioimaging.
